The apartment is on the ground floor of a renovated building with in total 3 apartments.
The living room has airco a comfortable couch, flatscreen tv and of course there is free internet. There is a dining area which separates the living room from the open fully equipped kitchen.
The main bedroom has a double bed and in the second bedroom there is a trundle bed (single bed with under it an extra bed that can be rolled out). There is a complete bathroom with a large shower and toilet. And inside the apartment is also a spacious laundry room with a washing and drying machine plus room for a couple of bikes so you can store them out of sight.

The apartment is located on the ground floor of a building with a total of 3 apartments on Carrer de Mora in the middle of the old historic city center. The apartment is very difficult to reach by car (and parking at the apartment is not allowed) and therefore we strongly advise you to park the car first and then come to the apartment on foot for the check-in. The apartment is on the ground floor, so no stairs in the building. However, climbing stairs around the apartment is almost inevitable. There is a lot of height difference in the old town and the apartment is in a higher part of the Barri Vell.
We have our office at Carrer de la Cort Reial 13 (Bravissimo), a 5 minutes’ walk, where you can find us for all your questions. The apartment is in the centre of the historic district, where access by car is very difficult and parking is not possible. It is also important to note that you can only enter the historic centre 3 times by car (per quarter). Therefore, we strongly advise you to park the car first and then come to the apartment on foot for the check-in. A late check-in is no problem but we do have a policy (after 21.00). Please note that a late check-in carries the following extra charges: From 21:00 to 23:00, 20€; From 23:00 to 00:00, 40€; Check-in after 00:00 is in principle not possible. Of course if your plane is delayed and you arrive after 00.00 we will be there for you. Tourist tax: When we do the check-in your booking is paid via Airbnb, except for the tourist tax. Tourist tax is a local tax that we are obliged to collect and remit to the local government. The tax is 1,10 euro per person (16 years and older) per night, for a maximum of 7 nights.
You will find the apartment in a unique part of Girona, the Barri Vell. The Barri Vell is the historic center of Girona which is surrounded by the ancient city wall. From the apartment you are only a footstep away from all the beautiful places and historic buildings Girona has to offer. The apartment is on a higher part of the old town and if you walk just one minute downwards you will come to for instance Placa del Vi, a square with nice terraces and restaurants. In the lower part of the Barri Vell, around the river Onyar, you will find a lot of very good restaurants, terraces and plenty of nice shops and boutiques.
Girona has its own airport just 20 min away by taxi (around 30 euro) or you can go by bus for around 3 euro and that will take you about 30 min. Buses will stop at the train station in Girona which is a 15 min walk from the apartment. The train station has a high-speed connection with Barcelona. In around 35 min you will be in the heart of that other great city of Catalunya. By train you can for instance also go to Figueres to visit the well know and beautiful Dalí museum. If you come by car you must consider the accessibility and parking options. The historic quarter, (where the apartment is located) has limited traffic access (you are only allowed to enter 3x per quarter year), and you are not allowed to park. The apartment is very difficult to reach by car (and parking at the apartment is not allowed) and therefore we strongly advise you to park the car first and then come to the apartment on foot for the check-in. There are several places where you can park. There is a paid parking garage just 5 minutes from the apartment which we highly recommend: Parking Saba Santa Caterina. They offer multi-day tickets which are easy and economic. If you are interested, we can arrange it for you. There is also free outdoor parking. For example, Passeig Fora Muralla (couple of minutes’ walk) or La Copa (10 min walk).
